Battle road critique, 1894-2005.

Critique, written by Martin, of the pamphlet Heroes of the Battle road, written by Frank Wilson Cheney Hersey, a narrative of events in Lincoln on the 18th and 19th of April, 1775, which discussed the capture of Paul Revere and other incidents, and supporting documentation in the form of newspaper clippings from the Boston Sunday Globe and Boston Evening Transcript. Martin felt that there was no corroboration of some of the incidents described and that the story should be considered folklore.
